PATMOS 2004 Technical Program

PATMOS 2004 Proceedings are now available by Springer.

PATMOS '04 is the fourteenth in a series of international workshops. The PATMOS meeting has evolved into an important European event, where industry and academia meet to discuss power and timing aspects in modern integrated circuit and system design.

Santorini, the southern most Cycladic island and cradle of an ancient civilization dating back to the Bronze Age, offers a magnificent natural setting, unique architecture, and quality accommodations. Hosted at Santorini, at the "Petros M. Nomikos" Conference Center, during the best time of the year to visit the island, PATMOS '04 provides the opportunity for high-level technical discussions in a friendly atmosphere.

The PATMOS objective is to provide a forum to discuss and investigate the emerging problems in methodologies and tools for the design of next generations of integrated circuits and systems. The technical program will focus on speed and low-power aspects, with particular emphasis on modeling, characterization, design and architectures.

Contributions are invited for regular presentations and discussion sessions. Perspective authors are invited to submit their complete paper, including a 100-word abstract and illustrations, in A4 camera-ready format, not exceeding 10 pages or 5000 words. Electronic submission is required and should follow the style for the final publication. Submitted papers will be reviewed formally and anonymously by several reviewers. The PATMOS 2004 proceedings will be published by Springer in the series "Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS)."

Selected papers will be included in a special issue of Integration, the VLSI Journal, published by Elsevier Publishers.

Proposals for panel sessions and special sessions are encouraged and must be received not later than March 22, 2004.

Important Dates:

-        Deadline for paper submission: March 14, 2004, March 22, 2004

(Submission deadline has been extended)

-        Notification of acceptance: May 16, 2004, first week of June
